Note: Redleg runs Ruby's Music Room, and in the past ran Guildford Lane Gallery. That is a simple fact. But to mention it, and make sure that we are not sued for some reason on grounds we are not aware of and have not anticipated, entails that we have to make "a bigger deal of it" than we otherwise would. It would have been simpler to just mention the fact, but by leaving it at that might be said to have been done by us out of "malice", or that it may have been wrong in fact; hence we need to show where the relationship lies between Redleg and Ruby's Music Room. Indeed, it becomes MANIFESTLY obvious that we could avoid mention of the fact and avoid any legal repercussions; self-censor; which is precisely the the outcome achieved by Australia's 2005 Defamation Act, though the act itself asserts categorically that it is not designed to "unreasonably" impinge on the right to freely impart (and receive) information (though not necessarily expressed by these exact words).

Defining "racism"

There appears to be an attempted expanding of the definition of the concept of “racist” in English that intends to have it that, a racist is someone with a well articulated argument in which a claim is made of the superiority of one race over another, (which is actually racialism), which is not what “racism” means.

A racist is someone whose OPINION attributes to a "race" characteristics, and on the basis of those characteristics is prejudiced or discriminatory against that "race".


A prejudice is a belief and OPINION that is not necessarily supported by any facts.

An OPINION that is racist is not one supported by facts; it is a prejudice.

Cripps attributed to Jews the characteristic of being responsible for war/conflict.

The Nazis attributed to the Jews the same characteristic, even while, to be blunt, the Nazis were rounding up Jews to send to Auschwitz.


p. 35, FACES OF THE ENEMY - reflections of the hostile imagination. The psychology of Enmity. Sam Keen. ISBN 0062504673. Even while Jews were being exterminated, the Nazis proclaimed that the Jews bore the guilt for war and were responsible for the fate that was befalling them. The Muslim Nazi al Husseini made the same pronouncement a decade after the war.

Cripps' objections were in response to my painting attempting the destruction of the secular muse.

On p. 25 of Humanist Transhumanist I write:

"This muse is in the middle of a bomb–cratered landscape. The figure attached to mechanical devices is assailed by war. The war is that of religion against a secular society. The religion that assails secular society today is Islam." (highlighted text above)

The essay from pp. 25-26 was posted alongside the painting.

Cripps declared that Jews cause conflict, not Muslims and that Muslims are the Jew’s victims.

Cripps decried the quotes from the Koran as “opinion” because the quotes from the Koran incite Muslims to wage perpetual war with the aim of war being to be killed while waging war. This conflicted with his prejudice against Jews in which Muslims could only be passive victims and that only the Jews could be perpetrators of violence.

It was Cripps' own personal racist beliefs, his prejudices, and his OPINION, regarding characteristic's he claimed for Jews as fomenters of war, that led to his 1) declaring us to be racist, 2) to his posting of disclaimers, 3) his posting of a large WARNING! , and 4) to his rescission of the contract on those grounds. Cripps acknowledged that he hated Jews and openly admitted that this was racist.

It is a characteristic of the left to characterise critics of Islam as "racists", as did Cripps.

It is a characteristic of the left to attribute to Jews the characteristic of being warmongers, a characteristic claimed for Jews by Nazis which includes Adolf Hitler.

The hatred of Jews was a racist prejudice that characterised Adolf Hitler who expressed his hatred of Jews in Mein Kampf.

It is the sentiments expressed in Mein Kampf that have been adopted by the left, which does not mean that it is necessary to read Mein Kampf to have adopted the sentiments Hitler expressed in it. That this is so is a matter of history.

Cripps is a manifestation of the left.

This can not ever mean or be made to mean that, on Cripps' admission that he is a racist, that I mean to IMPUTE he is a “dangerous racist”. And it does not mean that his manifesting the SENTIMENTS - the general feelings - regarding Jews, SENTIMENTS consistent with leftist prejudices, can ever be made to mean that Cripps has "adopted the failed theories of the National Socialists", unle$$ tho$e who propo$e $uch a claim believe they can po$pectively make $ome financial gain by making $uch a claim. $ince when do "feeling$", "$entiment$", become the preci$ely articulated "theorie$" of the Nazi$?

Au$tralia’$ defamation law $hould not be about how $omething can be di$torted in $uch a way that it might be made to mean $omething el$e $o that one party can make a financial windfall from it - e$pecially if it involve$ an immutable historical truth: the SENTIMENTS of the left have been expressed before by Hitler and the Nazis.


Deal with it Cripps!

It is a perversity of Australian law that one party can sue another because of their embarrassment over that which they should be embarrassed. Cripps SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED by what is an historical fact. Cripps made himself an object of ridicule before an audience and prior to mine and Lee-Anne Raymond's writing of his actions that made him ridiculous. It was what Cripps did himself that made him ridiculous not that we wrote about it.

History DID NOT BECOME SO ON MY STATING IT, it was already so before I stated it.

This entire case is an abuse of process undertaken against me knowingly by Cripps' legal counsel on Cripps' behalf.

Robert Cripps, above, ran a failed-gallery. Cripps realised and accepted he was racist to hate Jews ("self-confessed racist" means just that). He preferred to call me "racist" in my critique of Islamic doctrine (the Koran) because he preferred to blame "the Jews and their state in Palestine" for a conflict that was not mentioned in my criticism of religions. Supporters of the "Palestinian cause" call "racist" any critic of Islam - as they did recently in Melbourne, Australia, when they organised pro-"Palestine" protests against a critic of Islamic doctrine.
